The wool we sell is grown right here at the farm in Ferndale, Wa. by a lady shepherd and her family. The roving and yarns were created at a woman-run/owned mill in Enumclaw, Wa . It is light and airy. Little to no veggie matter, aka vm. Homespun Fiberworks mill does an excellent job washing and carding our fleeces into high-quality roving and custom-spun yarns. And we couldn’t get from hoof to mill without our fabulous PNW Shepherdess who has done an excellent job shearing our sheep every year. Your yarn and roving is truly a LOCAL PNW product that we are PROUD to share with you.
Each quantity of roving is 4 ounces and comes in a reusable clear poly bag If your order contains multiple quantities, say, 2, for a total of 8 oz of wool, we will package the roving into a larger single bag for you unless you specify otherwise. If you order larger than 4oz of wool, we will do our best to send you one continuous length but you may end up with 2 lengths.
