Basic Round Basket
Join me in an afternoon of weaving and create a simple willow basket. This class covers the foundations of European-style willow weaving. You’ll learn to weave a small, round basket (no handle) building on the techniques you learned in our Flower Power afternoon. You’ll reinforce your skills in creating a sturdy base, learn to add sides to the basket, and finish your basket with a simple, strong border. At the end of the class, you’ll have all the skills to weave your own baskets and begin to explore more advanced willow weaving techniques.
