Our Ducks
At Hedgerow Willows, our Welsh Harlequin breeding flock is carefully selected for excellent egg production, calm temperaments, strong foraging ability, and beautiful silver penciled plumage. These hardy heritage ducks thrive on pasture in the Pacific Northwest and are known for their active, friendly nature and rich white eggs. Our breeding program focuses on maintaining healthy, productive birds that reflect the beauty and utility of the Welsh Harlequin breed.
We will be offering Hatching Eggs and Ducklings in 2027
Our primary laying flock also includes Hybrid 300 White Layers that are a dual purpose laying breed and a few runner ducks. During breeding season our flocks are separated to ensure true breeding and some eggs that are not fertile.

Duck Eggs
Happy Hens
Duck eggs are prized for their rich flavor and exceptional nutritional value. Compared to chicken eggs, duck eggs are larger and contain higher levels of protein, healthy fats, omega-3 fatty acids, iron, selenium, and essential vitamins such as B12 and D. Their rich yolks make them especially popular for baking, creating pastries, custards, and breads with excellent texture and color. Many people also enjoy duck eggs for their creamy taste and satisfying nutrition as part of a farm-fresh, protein-rich diet.
