Pasture-Raised Lamb Shares | Hedgerow Willows

Enjoy locally raised, pasture-fed lamb from Hedgerow Willows. Our lamb shares are available by reservation each season and offer a delicious, ethically raised source of protein for your family while supporting sustainable agriculture in Whatcom County.

Our sheep are rotationally grazed on fresh pasture and raised with a focus on animal welfare, land stewardship, and producing flavorful, high-quality lamb. We work with Lynden Meats; a custom-exempt processor to ensure your lamb is professionally cut, wrapped, and frozen to your specifications.

Lamb Share Options

  • Whole Lamb Share-

As a thank-you for supporting our farm, Whole Lamb Share we offer 10% off the purchase of their lamb's hide or wool products. If available, you can preserve the connection to your animal by purchasing its tanned sheepskin, raw fleece, or value-added wool products at an exclusive discounted price. To reserve a fleece please contact us with your deposit by September 15th so we can be sure to schedule a shearer.

It's a unique opportunity to enjoy not only premium pasture-raised lamb but also the beauty and utility of your animal's wool—bringing the full farm-to-fiber experience into your home.

Each share includes a variety of premium cuts, including chops, roasts, ground lamb, stew meat, and shanks. Actual packaged weight varies depending on the size of the animal and your preferred cutting instructions.

Pricing

  • $15.00 per pound based on hanging weight

  • Processing Fees are INCLUDED in this price

  • A non-refundable deposit of $175 reserves your lamb share

  • estimated hanging weight is 35-45lbs making your lamb share approximately $525-675.

  • Final cost varies from sheep to sheep

“Hanging weight” refers to the weight of the animal after harvest and initial processing (hide and organs removed). Final take-home weight will be less depending on your cuts (but I’ll recommend cut choices that make the most of the whole animal!)
