Participants will learn humane harvest techniques, skinning, evisceration, carcass handling, food safety, fabrication into common cuts, packaging, and equipment recommendations for home processing.

This is a supportive, educational event where questions are encouraged. Whether you're raising your first sheep or looking to become more self-sufficient, you'll leave with practical skills and a deeper understanding of ethical livestock stewardship.

Who Should Attend: Homesteaders, shepherds, livestock owners, and anyone interested in learning traditional butchering skills. No previous experience is required.

Important Information: This event includes the live harvest and processing of sheep. Participants must be comfortable observing and discussing all aspects of animal harvest and meat processing. Attendees must be 18 years or older, or ages 13–17 when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Hold Harmless Agreement: All participants are required to sign a Hold Harmless and Liability Waiver before the workshop and agree to follow all instructor directions and farm safety guidelines.
